Corporate Finance Associate
About this role:
As a Corporate Finance Associate, you play a key role in supporting corporate finance activities across the organization. You ensure timely and accurate reporting, contribute to planning and forecasting processes, and provide reliable financial insights that support management decision-making.
You will report to the Corporate Finance Controller and work closely with various international entities within the group. This role offers broad exposure to reporting, accounting, forecasting, and M&A activities in an international environment.
What you will do:
- Prepare and maintain daily reporting
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) reporting
- Responsible for Thetford LLC accounting
- Responsible for Yosemite accounting
- Manage group lease accounting
- Perform analysis and reporting for Thetford Europe
- Support statutory audits
- Support group tax activities
- Contribute to monthly forecasting processes
- Assist in preparation of Board meetings
- Support mergers & acquisitions activities
What success looks like (first 6-12 months)
- You independently manage daily and AR reporting processes with accuracy and consistency
- You take ownership of accounting of various international entities in the US and Europe
- You provide reliable analyses that support management decision-making
- You actively contribute to forecasting cycles and audit processes
- You build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across entities
- You identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and financial processes
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) or MBO + in Economics, Finance, or a related field
- (HBO level) Minimum 0-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role within an international company / (MBO level) Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within an international company
- Strong analytical skills and high level of accuracy
- Advanced Excel skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Result-oriented and proactive
- Flexible team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to understand and align with management priorities
